VARCOOL 4000 SERIES

The latest addition to Varol’s very successful range of high performance long-life coolants, suitable for ultra-high performance, aerospace, automotive and precision engineering. The product incorporates the latest combination of HP ester technology with excellent lubricity characteristics to provide both good tool life and surface finish. Extreme pressure additives enhance the tooling performance combined with boron and formaldehyde free technology to satisfy stringent HSE requirements.

 

Varcool 4055 (Mid – High Water) Varcool 4555 (Ultra Soft – Med Water)

Developed for use in very soft to hard water and is inherently low foaming at high pressures. The product offers unrivalled cutting performance on a wide range of materials and is fully protected against aluminium staining, making it ideal for machining aerospace alloys as well as titanium and steel in general or arduous machining applications.

Latest technology boasting a boron and formaldehyde free formulation and therefore has excellent operator acceptance and overcomes concerns related to the impending regulations concerning formaldehyde release biocides and use of boric acid in metalworking fluids. Although using formaldehyde free biocide coupled with boron free technology (free of boric acid and its derivatives). Varcool 4555 does contain fungicides and special neutralised bio-stable amines, these are important to give the product the stability and sump-life performance required to contain overall fluid costs.

 

 

 

VARCOOL 3000 SERIES

A range of traditional mid oil range coolants, manufactured with technology which is extremely bio stable, excellent tooling performance and suitable for high performance or general machining.

 

 

Varcool 3053

Presenting the latest in chlorine free technology offering significant advantages in performance without the use of chlorinated additives.  It is inherently low foam and is excellent in soft to hard water.  It is suitable for use on a wide range of difficult materials and is a perfect choice for aerospace and high technology manufacturing.

Incorporating the latest performance additives; the product also exhibits excellent lubricity characteristics to provide both good tool life and surface finish. The product is highly resistant to bacteria formation and exhibits excellent corrosion resistance whilst maintaining machine cleanliness and operator acceptability. 

 

Varcool 3020

The latest addition to Varol’s very successful 3000 range of long-life coolants. The product is fully protected against aluminium staining, making it ideal for machining aerospace alloys as well as titanium, steel and cast iron. The product has been laboratory tested against all commonly used aerospace aluminium types. 

Formulated for use in medium to very hard water areas and overcomes issues associated with instability, corrosion or sticky soap deposits. These problems are caused by water evaporation leaving calcium and magnesium salts to build up in the coolant. It is this salt build up that eventually destabilises emulsions and causes the problems that many areas of the UK especially the South Coast endure. The product is especially formulated to remain clean and stable in the hardest of waters without excessive soap formation and is highly resistant to bacteria formation whilst exhibiting excellent corrosion resistance and operator acceptability.

 

Varcool 3010

High performance water-soluble coolant designed for moderate to heavy duty machining operations. It is compatible with a wide range of metals and varying water hardness.

Developed as a high performance low foaming coolant for moderate to difficult machining operations on ferrous, non-ferrous and other high performance alloys. An additional feature of this product is its ability to resist the formation of soaps and scums in hard / high calcium water making it low maintenance and giving extended coolant life. The product also exhibits excellent lubricity characteristics to provide both good tool life and surface finish. The product is highly resistant to bacteria formation and exhibits excellent corrosion resistance whilst maintaining machine cleanliness and operator acceptability.

 

 

VARCOOL 2000 SERIES

A semi synthetic range of coolants suitable for entry level machining all the way up to high performance manufacturing, a low oil range which keeps machines clean and extremely bio stable.

 

Varcool 2150

High performance, semi-synthetic metalworking fluid formulated for machining and grinding of a wide range of materials. This formulation achieves the highest levels of ferrous rust protection whilst also maintaining low levels of foam even in soft water areas. The product forms a stable translucent micro emulsion in both soft and hard waters and is inhibited against bacterial growth.

Developed for moderate to difficult machining operations and contains HP (high performance) esters, is free of chlorine and secondary amines. It is suitable for use across a wide range of materials, ferrous, non-ferrous and aerospace alloys. Exhibiting excellent lubricity characteristics to provide both good tool life and surface finish making the product suitable for a whole variety of machining applications whilst maintaining machine cleanliness and excellent operator acceptability and skin compatibility.

 

Varcool 2140

High lubricity formulation containing a unique combination of technologically advanced lubricants the product offers superior tramp oil rejection, low usage rates and fantastic operator acceptance. A high performance, semi-synthetic metalworking fluid formulated for machining and grinding of a wide range of materials. This formulation achieves the highest levels of ferrous rust protection whilst also maintaining low levels of foam even in soft water areas. The product forms a stable translucent micro emulsion in both soft and hard waters and is inhibited against bacterial growth.

Varcool 2110

A cost effective, low oil semi-synthetic with low foaming performance, excellent tramp oil rejection and superior system life. Performance advantages include minimal residue and exceptional cleanliness, a micro emulsion coolant specifically formulated for machining and grinding of cast iron and steel. Achieving the highest levels of ferrous rust protection whilst also maintaining low levels of foam even in soft water areas. This clean running formulation also prevents the loading of grinding wheels, ensuring good surface finishes and minimal burning. The product forms a stable emulsion in both soft and hard waters and is inhibited against bacterial growth.

VARCOOL 1000 SERIES

Entry level high oil containing range of soluble cutting fluids. Suited to everyday general purpose machine applications, general machining, precision machining and various other bespoke applications.

 

Varcool 1050

Boron free high oil metal process fluid containing EP performance additives which produces a milky white emulsion when diluted in water. The product is compounded to form a stable emulsion in both hard and soft water and is highly inhibited against bacterial growth. Developed as a higher performance coolant for moderate to difficult machining operations. It is compatible with a wide range of metals and varying water hardness.

Incorporating the latest performance additives including extreme pressure additives. The product exhibits excellent lubricity characteristics to provide both good tool life and surface finish making the product suitable for a whole variety of machining applications whilst maintaining machine cleanliness and operator acceptability.

 

Varcool 1020

Boron free high oil containing metal process fluid which produces a milky white emulsion when diluted in water. The product is compounded to form a stable emulsion in both hard and soft water and is highly inhibited against bacterial growth. Developed to exhibit full multi-metal compatibility and is particularly recommended for machining copper based alloys and other “yellow” metals. It is suitable for a wide range of machining operations 

Incorporating a specially selected lubricity additive to provide enhanced levels of lubricity giving a good surface finish and enhancing tool life. On metal forming applications the products lubricious characteristics provide additional drawing capabilities. Exhibits excellent lubricity characteristics, making the product suitable for a whole variety of machining applications whilst maintaining machine cleanliness and operator acceptability.

 

Varcool 1010

Boron free high oil containing metal process fluid which produces a milky white emulsion when diluted in water. The product is compounded to form a stable emulsion in both hard and soft water and is highly inhibited against bacterial growth. Developed to exhibit full multi-metal compatibility and is suitable for economical use on a wide variety of machining applications.
