VARFORM 300 SERIES

Our 300 series is our ester based vanishing oil range, covering drawing, stamping, punching or piercing. Its properties can eliminate the use of post wash operations given the lack of residue remaining on the product.

Varform 326

Low viscosity, ester based vanishing oil for Drawing and Stamping. A low viscosity lubricant designed for high speed presswork operations producing relatively small or flat components

Formulated with a high level of neutral ester to provide high film strength. This imparts a good surface finish to components and protects tools from ‘pick-up’ and wear. Designed for use on a broad range of light gauge materials including steel, zinc coated steel and aluminium

Varform 325

Low viscosity, ester based vanishing oil for Drawing and Stamping. Designed for high speed presswork operations producing relatively small or flat components.

Formulated with a high level of neutral ester to provide high film strength. This imparts a good surface finish to components and protects tools form “pick up” and wear. Designed for use on a broad range of light gauge materials including steel, zinc coated steel and aluminium.

Varform 307

Low viscosity, ester based vanishing oil for Drawing and Stamping. Designed for high speed blanking, punching or piercing operations on thin gauge coiled steel strip. It can also be used as a light duty forming or drawing lubricant.

Formulated with a low level of neutral ester to ensure only a very thin film is left on components. This film is frequently not removed prior to subsequent operations. The solvent carrier has a significantly higher flash point than other hydrocarbon solvents, such as white spirit, typically used in this type of product but will evaporate. Designed for use on light gauge steel and aluminium alloys.

VARFORM 200 SERIES

Varform 299

High viscosity EP Chlorinated neat drawing, forming and stamping lubricant. A high viscosity heavy duty neat oil drawing compound recommended for severe cold forming operations (e.g. presswork, heading, blanking, piercing and swaging) predominantly on steels including alloy steels.

High in EP and lubricity additives for the lubricity required in severe draws and is normally used as supplied, application can be by brush, roller or spray. As a heavy duty compound and therefore post formed parts should be cleaned with hydrocarbon solvents or very heavy duty aqueous wash systems.
